This pivotal role sits at the intersection of product and design: you'll own end-to-end product experiences from the problem worth solving through to the pixels users see, shape both our product and design strategy, and lead and uplevel our Design team. You'll combine a product mindset with the craft to make it exceptional. You're equally at home defining a product bet and refining an interaction. What You'll Do 🎯 Own Product Areas End to End: Take full ownership of key parts of the Freecash experience, from discovery, problem framing, and prioritisation through to design, launch, and iteration, with clear accountability for the outcomes, not just the output. Shape Product & Design Strategy: Partner with leadership, Engineering, and Data to define where our products should go next, drawing on user insight, competitor landscapes, and business goals to decide what to build, what to cut, and how it should feel. Lead & Uplevel the Design Team: Act as a hands-on leader, coaching and mentoring designers to raise the bar for visual and interaction design, while growing their product thinking so the team owns problems, not just screens. Run Experiments That Move Metrics: Turn ideas into hypotheses and hypotheses into fast experiments, using user research, automated metric tracking, and performance data to make decisions that move engagement, retention, and monetisation for users and advertisers. Drive AI-Native Ways of Working: Bring AI into how product and design operate, from rapid prototyping and research synthesis to faster iteration, and explore where AI can create better experiences for our users. Own & Enhance the Experience: Proactively identify opportunities across our products, then define, redesign, and ship solutions that improve usability, emotional connection, and overall user satisfaction. What You'll Bring 💡 Extensive experience across product and design in mobile-first B2C products, with a portfolio and track record that show both impactful UI/UX work and product decisions that moved business results. Experience owning product outcomes, whether as a product manager, a product-minded design lead, or in a hybrid role: defining problems, setting priorities, writing specs, and making trade-off calls. Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, with a meticulous eye for detail, hierarchy, and accessibility, and a deep care for quality and polish. Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow a design team, and to inspire cross-functional teams toward high-quality outcomes. A highly data-driven mindset: comfortable digging into the data yourself, designing experiments, and setting up the metrics that show what truly moves the needle. Hands-on experience using AI tools to speed up how you and your team discover, prototype, and ship. What Makes You a Great Fit 🌟 Product Mind, Designer's Eye: You think in problems, bets, and outcomes, and you can't let a feature ship
