Senior Litigation Paralegal

About the role Chime’s Legal team is seeking a senior litigation paralegal to support the company’s litigation, regulatory, and employment matters. In this role, you will help manage a diverse portfolio that includes consumer litigation and arbitration, class actions, commercial disputes, regulatory inquiries and investigations, and employment matters. You will coordinate key matter workflows, manage legal records and data, support discovery and regulatory responses, and help attorneys and cross-functional partners drive matters toward resolution. You will also play an important role in advancing the team’s use of data, analytics, AI-enabled technologies, and other emerging tools. This includes developing reporting and dashboards, identifying trends across the team’s portfolio, and designing AI agents and workflows that make legal processes more efficient and scalable. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $62.50 and up to $86.54 hourly. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. In this role, you can expect to Provide senior-level paralegal support across consumer litigation and arbitration, class actions, commercial disputes, regulatory inquiries and investigations, and employment matters. Manage matter workflows, calendars, deadlines, legal holds, discovery, regulatory responses, and other critical litigation and regulatory processes. Maintain accurate matter records and data, coordinate with outside counsel and vendors, and support budgeting, invoice review, and related operational activities. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting on litigation, legal spending, cycle times, filings, claims, outcomes, and emerging risk trends; analyze portfolio data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights. Design, test, document, and maintain AI-enabled workflows and agents that improve legal research, matter management, document review, reporting, and other team processes, with appropriate quality controls and attorney oversight. Partner with attorneys and cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, Finance, People, Product, and Operations, to gather information, coordinate projects, and move matters forward. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, strengthen controls, and build scalable processes across the litigation, regulatory, and employment functions. Assist with special projects, investigations, and broader legal operations initiatives as needed. To thrive in this role, you have 7+ years of relevant paralegal experience, including substantial experience supporting complex litigation at a law firm, in-house legal department, or both. Experience managing litigation processes and deadlines, discovery, document collections and productions, legal holds, subpoenas, and large or complex matter portfolios. Strong project-management skills and a demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple matters, stakeholders, and competing priorities. Experience organizing, analyzing, and reporting on legal or operational data, with strong attention to data accuracy and quality. Proficiency with spreadsheets and data-visualization or business-intelligence tools; experience with SQL and Looker, Hex or comparable tools is strongly preferred. Experience using AI-enabled technologies and automation tools, and developing AI agents or other repeatable AI solutions to improve workflows. Familiari
