About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to help build and scale our Asset Lifecycle Operations Team. This is a leadership role and part of our broader Infrastructure Operations organization which is focussed on the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure assets across our global deploy base. This group is responsible for building, scaling, and running one of the world's largest and most important cloud networks. Cloudflare’s global network spans more than 330+ cities, and is a key strategic asset that supports all of our customers and products. As a leader on this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our infrastructure. Serving as the central owner of infrastructure assets across Cloudflare's global network, the IT Asset Manager establishes foundational DCIM processes, tooling, and policies to govern the complete asset lifecycle. In this position, you will execute a clear operational vision to maintain precise asset records, satisfying key security and financial controls while driving automated, scalable service deployment. We operate in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to drive both project delivery and operational excellence through continuous improvement, standardization, and optimization. This isn't just about day to day operations; it's about building a scalable, performant, secure, and resilient infrastructure that plays a critical role in aiding Cloudflare to build a better Internet. Responsibilities Ensure accurate recording of capital investments, whilst maintaining the pace of execution needed by our engineering teams Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Technical Project Managers, Capacity Planning Analysts, Engineering Managers, Finance, and Security to meet strategic group initiatives Manage key third-party vendors and contractors involved in ITAD activities, holding them accountable for performance and service level agreements (SLAs) Drive a culture of continuous improvement by championing standardization, optimization, and automation.
