As an Account Manager, Automotive on the Lyft Business team, you’ll help Automotive Dealerships get more out of Lyft and its solutions after the sale. You’ll join a talented team focused on one thing: using technology and Lyft’s network of drivers to improve transportation for a company’s customers and employees. We’re looking for smart, ambitious individuals with account management experience who want to transform the way people move around and succeed in a fast moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Own a book of existing dealership accounts, with responsibility for retention, adoption, and revenue growth
Build and manage an expansion pipeline within your accounts by developing trusted client relationships from first renewal conversation to signed expansion
Accurately forecast, track, and manage revenue, renewals, and churn risk with multiple systems and tools (Salesforce, Claude, Gemini, Outreach, Google Suite, Mode, and Tableau)
Achieve quarterly retention and net revenue growth targets
Running quarterly business reviews, monitoring account usage and health data, and re-engaging dormant users and rooftops
Be the primary point of contact and build relationships with multiple decision makers across the dealership and dealer group
Establish collaborative relationships with Lyft Business customers and demonstrate Lyft value to client-focused initiatives
Facilitate training, account review, customer engagement, and customer success criteria
Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Support, and Product, to resolve client issues and drive the effectiveness of account initiatives
Represent Lyft at marketing and trade show events
Travel up to 20% of the time for meetings and visits to client locations
Reports directly to the Manager of Automotive Sales
Experience:
2+ years of B2B account management, customer success, or renewals experience carrying a retention or growth number (SaaS API integration, ad-tech, or transportation a plus)
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, AI tooling, and a knack for learning new sales tech
A passion for mobility, the auto industry, or simply making transportation and logistics easy
Experience owning the post-sale lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, renewal, objection-handling, and upsell
Comfort using usage and performance data to identify risk and surface growth opportunities
Demonstrated success in exceeding retention or growth targets
Excellent communication skills - A big part of the role is talking to clients on the phone and in-person
