The Commercial Legal Team at Pinterest negotiates Pinterest’s inbound and supplier agreements. We are looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel with a strong background in negotiating complex SaaS, AI and cloud infrastructure agreements to join our team. The position will manage workloads for and relationships with several of our cross functional partners, including Engineering, Security, Privacy, Finance, Procurement and IT. This role will play an important part in supporting Pinterest’s cloud strategy across multiple platforms and helping the business efficiently scale its technology and infrastructure partnerships. What you’ll do: Autonomously negotiate a high volume of complex SaaS, AI, compute infrastructure, data processing, professional services and other commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment. Lead legal support for enterprise-level cloud negotiations with AWS and other cloud service providers, including advising on pricing structures, committed spend models, service descriptions, renewal terms, service levels, support, audit rights, termination and exit provisions. Use your knowledge of data security, data privacy, AI, intellectual property and general commercial concerns to counsel the business on risks related to their transactions and offer practical solutions for addressing such risks in supplier agreements. Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Security and Privacy teams to support cloud needs forecasting, budget alignment and strategic decision-making for major cloud and infrastructure transactions. Advise on key legal and business issues in cloud and infrastructure transactions, including uptime commitments, business continuity, subcontracting, data use, compliance, portability and supplier accountability. Help operationalize the key commercial, financial and legal terms of cloud infrastructure agreements by partnering with internal stakeholders to implement contracting requirements, track c
