As Reddit’s in-house creative strategy team, KarmaLab partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and advertisers to develop campaigns, creative strategies, and storytelling that connect brands with Reddit communities. We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to support Reddit’s growing App Development business. This person will help shape creative strategy for app advertisers while partnering across Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to translate business challenges into culturally resonant Reddit ideas that drive impact. Location : Hybrid in New York or San Francisco What You’ll Do: Lead the development of insight-driven creative strategies and campaign concepts that solve complex marketing challenges and help App advertisers show up authentically on Reddit Serve as a trusted creative consultant and Reddit platform expert, developing a deep understanding of clients’ business needs and recommending solutions most likely to drive performance Partner proactively with Sales, Measurement, and cross-functional teams on pitches, RFPs, presentations, workshops, and strategic client engagements Develop strong relationships with agency and client creative decision-makers, influencing campaign development early in the planning process Turn successful work into repeatable strategies, frameworks, narratives, and best practices that can be adopted across the App Dev vertical and broader KarmaLab team Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities independently, identifying the signals that matter and translating them into clear, actionable next steps What You Bring: Understanding of mobile app growth or performance-driven advertiser ecosystems Deep understanding of Reddit, internet culture, and community-driven platforms, with the ability to translate that knowledge into effective client strategies Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills for a range of internal and external audiences Experience partnering with Sales, Measurement, and cross-functional teams in to drive business growth Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop compelling creative strategies in fast-moving environments Experience using research, market trends, client feedback, and campaign performance to inform creative recommendations Ability to independently manage complex projects, timelines, stakeholders, and presentation development in an evolving environment A portfolio demonstrating insight-driven strategy, creative thinking, and measurable client impact Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of experience in advertising, media, social, PR, or creative strategy Experience building and pitching strategy-led presentations to clients Strong understanding of brands, agencies, and media/platform ecosystems Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in Google Slides Preferred Creative Strategy or platform experience at a social, mobile, or advertising technology company Experience supporting app, gaming, mobile, or performance-driven advertisers Agency, media, or integrated marketing experience Experience writing professionally for digital or social platforms Benefits: Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs 401k with Employer Match Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, f
