We are looking for a Brokerage Operations Specialist to further build out our Operations team in London, United Kingdom (UK). We are looking for an Operations professional with demonstrated experience in securities and brokerage as well as regulatory compliance related topics and who is excited to work at the intersection of regulation, technology, and finance. This is the UK first-line brokerage operations lead role, accountable for operational oversight, control execution, and service delivery across Robinhood UK brokerage processes, including outsourced and intercompany operational dependencies We are looking for a highly adaptable and collaborative person who can handle ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities with flexibility and patience. This role is based in our London, UK office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you’ll do Support the launch, improvement, and scaling of Robinhood UK operations, products, tools, and systems Own first-line oversight of UK brokerage operations, including transaction reporting controls, transfer operations, outsourced service-provider oversight, and operational risk management. Ensure all daily operations align with FCA CASS (Client Money & Asset) regulations and support the delivery of good customer outcomes under the FCA Consumer Duty. Partner with Robinhood teams such as Brokerage Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience (CX), Finance, Product, Engineering and Vendor Management Oversee and monitor the performance of operational business partners in line with the intercompany agreements and SLAs Continuous process efficiency improvement - leveraging AI and data to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk Responsible for maintaining operational Standard Operating Procedures and processes. Partner with the Risk & Compliance team (2nd line) to review, implement and operate the required frameworks and controls to support regulatory requirements. Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, control remediation, and operational readiness work for new launches and material process changes Foster a culture of professionalism, high ethical standards, personal development, and regulatory compliance and promoting the core values and risk culture.
