Read our Culture Manual and learn more about how we work . The Role We’re looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to own the strategy and operating system behind our paid social creative. This is a performance-first role for someone who can turn customer insights, performance data, platform trends, and strong creative judgment into ads that acquire incremental clients efficiently. You will own the creative process from research and concept development through briefing, production, launch, reporting, and iteration. You’ll work closely with performance marketing, creative, influencer, and UGC partners to build a high-volume creative testing engine across major campaign launches and evergreen acquisition. This is a senior individual contributor role. You should be comfortable setting the strategy, building the systems and driving the creative work. What Success Looks Like A high-volume creative testing engine that consistently launches new concepts and iterations Creative campaigns that acquire incremental clients within target iCAC Clear reporting and documentation that helps shape the ad playbook High creative standards across paid social, influencer, and UGC Strong trust and alignment across performance marketing, creative, and other partners What You’ll Do Research and insights Determine which ads we should make by analyzing customer behaviour, audience needs, competitor creative, cultural signals, platform trends and internal data. Creative strategy Develop the concepts, messaging angles, channel strategies, and testing frameworks behind our paid social creative. Briefing and execution Own every ad from concept through launch, including briefs, hooks, scripts, copy, visual direction, creator direction, and final creative review. Performance analysis and optimization Own the creative reporting and optimization framework, document learnings, identify winners and fatigue, and continuously evolve the testing roadmap to keep campaigns within target iCAC. Influencer and UGC strategy Set the creative strategy and direction for influencer and UGC content, partnering with internal team members and creators to produce performance-oriented work. Creative systems and leadership Build the processes, standards, documentation, and AI-enabled workflows required to run a fast, effective, and repeatable creative engine. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in performance creative, creative strategy, paid social, or a related role A proven track record of building high-volume creative testing engines that consistently produce winning concepts Deep experience developing performance creative for Meta and TikTok, including UGC, creator, and influencer-led advertising Strong creative judgment across concepts, hooks, copy, scripts, visual direction, and production A data-driven approach to creative, with experience building testing frameworks, analyzing performance, and documenting learnings A highly hands-on working style, with the ability to build scalable systems, integrate AI into workflows, and give clear direction to creative partners Nice to Have Experience creating high-quality UGC, comfort being on camera Able to shoot and/or edit content Why Wealthsimple? 🌸 Top-tier health benefits and life insurance 📈 Long-term group savings with employer match, through Wealthsimple for Business 🌴 2
