Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data we collect when you use Xecodai, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to candidates who practise interviews and to any company using our talent-intelligence features.
Data we collect
Account data (name, email, auth identifiers), the CV and LinkedIn profile you import, your practice interview answers, voice and camera recordings during interviews, and product-usage events. We also process job-market data sourced from public company career sites.
How we use your data
To run your AI interviews, compute your Job Match Score, generate interview reports, show you relevant live openings and improve the models that score answers and match you to roles. We never sell your personal data.
Voice and camera
Your interview may use your microphone and camera so the AI can hold a realistic conversation. Recording only happens while an active interview is in progress. You can practise with voice only, and you can revoke microphone or camera permission at any time in your browser.
Visibility to employers
Your profile is private by default. You only appear in any future talent-discovery surface if you explicitly switch on 'Open to opportunities'. Companies cannot see your interview answers or reports unless you share them.
Data retention
We keep your account and practice history while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your CV, recordings and reports. We retain limited, aggregated market data after deletion because it no longer identifies you.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data from your profile or by contacting us. If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you may exercise your GDPR-style rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls and row-level security on the database. See our Security page for more detail.
